Talk Radio Tours

CCI’s Talk Radio Tours are a cost-effective way to reach an audience of millions with your key messages. Talk radio tours can include interviews on nationally syndicated talk shows, targeted local and regional shows, or a strategic mixture of both.
CCI works with you to tailor your messages to fit the talk radio format, books a series of interviews to occur during a pre-determined timeframe, monitors the interviews and ensures you receive digital audio files to leverage on your Web site and social media channels.

Radio Rows

A Radio Row is an on-site event which involves eight to 20 talk radio hosts from around the country who broadcast live from a venue discussing an issue or theme. Radio Rows are ideal for broadening the public awareness of important issues that may not ordinarily receive significant attention. They are entertaining and engaging for a live audience to see and a listening audience to hear.
CCI secures the location, books the talk show hosts, assists with messaging strategy and media training and provides on-site staff and technical management, including an engineer and broadcast equipment.CCI assists our clients to repurpose the recorded content on their Web site and social media channels.

Broadcast Video Distribution

Known as a “Bites & Cover” package, we leverage the broadcast video mediums to expand your campaign to wider audiences. CCI creates a compelling compilation of video images that meet the standards required for placement on national broadcasts as well as local and regional programs in key target markets.National network placements have included Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Headline News, Fox News, MSNBC, Weather, Fox Business News, Independent News Network and First Business.
CCI handles all aspects of production, distribution , marketing and media training (if requested). CCI assists our clients on how best to leverage the video on their Web site and social media.

Special Media Events

CCI produces special events designed to increase access and build relationships with key influential media personalities and policy-makers. These often tie in with high-profile media events and dinners that are open for sponsorships, such as the Radio and TV Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC and the “Talkers Magazine” New Media Seminar in New York City.

Media Training

CCI provides media training for clients to ensure they effectively communicate over broadcast mediums. For radio, we work with you in the areas of voice development and how to best frame ideas and issues on the air. Blanquita “BQ” Cullum,President of CCI, is a 30-year veteran of radio and television.Cullum was nominated by President Bush and confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Governor on the Broadcasting Board of Governors overseeing all U.S. International Broadcasting. She served as President of the National Association of Radio Talk Show Hosts.For nine years her program was listed as “One of the 100 most importantradio shows in America”. She is the President of the Young American Broadcasters Program and is Chairman of the Talk Radio First Amendment Committee.
Russ Hodge is an Emmy Award-winning producer with more than two decades experience in news, public affairs and documentary production . His credits include projects for HBO, PBS, NBC, CNBC, Fox and Comedy Central. He production credits include Fox News Sunday, Off the Record (Fox), Politically Incorrect (Comedy Central), and The McLaughlin Group (CNBC). Hodge is the Founder of 3 Roads Communications, Inc., and served an appointment as Director of Television for Voice of America.
Jane Norris is host of “Federal Drive“ on FederalNewsRadio AM 1050. Before joining WFED, she served the Bush Administration as the Director of the Office of Public Affairs for the Administration for Children and Families in the Department of Health and Human Services. Jane provides on-air analysis to NBC, CNN, MSNBC and Court TV.
Victoria Jones is a White House Correspondent for the Talk Radio News Service where she is heard on more than 400-news talk radio stations in the US and internationally. Victoria contributes to the BBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. She frequently contributes opinion pieces to national newspapers, hosted a live news talk show on MSNBC and has hosted The Victoria Jones Show for the past 16 years.
Andrew Wright has more than a decade of experience leading public affairs and grassroots campaigns for clients such as United Airlines, US Treasury Department, and Humana while with Direct Impact Company (Burson Marstellar) and Fleishman Hillard. He is the co-founder of Grasshopr, an online platform where organizations build grassroots communities and advocacy campaigns.
James Cullum is a writer, political consultant, producer and journalist in the Washington, D.C. area. He has produced nationally syndicated radio shows and has covered the U.S. Supreme Court, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Capitol and the White House.
Goeff Holtzmanproduces programming for the Talk Radio News Service. For several years he produced the mid-morning program for NewsTalk 630 WMAL in Washington, DC, and produced several live remote broadcasts including the 2008 Republican and Democratic National Conventions.
